MUSIC
SOUNDS OF THE
PACIFIC NORTHWEST
An incredibly important part of making Fallout: Cascadia feel like it’s own game and world, is the music and sounds. The music helps set the very tone of the world that we try to immerse our players in. To do this even better we’ve been working with countless talented musicians and composers over the years to create a brand new ambient soundtrack for the Pacific Wasteland. You will find a few of these tracks on this page, with more available on our Youtube page.
“New Beginnings”
Your journey in the Pacific Wasteland begins in Kent, a small town protected by NCR soldiers, a distant outpost on the very edges of their territory. Your choices will shape the lives of the town's inhabitants, and there's always a chance that they will shape you too. Welcome to Kent, a last stop for many and a first stop for you. Composed by Garrett Beelow.
“FROM DUSK TILL DAWN”
While the forests of the Pacific Wasteland are lush, they’re not safe. You’d do well to watch your step while you’re out in these dense, misty woods. Composed by Alex Catana.
“Building bridges”
Bridgetown is a key part of the road to Cascade. Despite this, its people are poor and starving, making do with whatever they can fish or buy off of traders. They remain safe thanks to the ROC, but at what cost? Composed by Jaimy Kortenhoff.
“VIRTUE AND VICE”
If it can be bought, it can be found at Pike’s Place, the premier marketplace of the Pacific Northwest. Enterprising men and women sell all kinds of merchandise there, ranging from slaves to chowder. However, while some of its denizens grow rich, others suffer in poverty. What will the future of this seedy bazaar be? Perhaps you’ll have a part in it. Composed by Jaimy Kortenhoff.
“One step ahead”
Named after one of the quests in our mainquest, you can only imagine what sort of chaos the Drifter will be thwarting... unless you like that sort of thing! Composed by Sylwester Faustmann.
